Why Most PR and Marketing Agencies Fail—And How Beta Digitals Used Micro-Workers to Stay Ahead

PR and Marketing

“E no easy,” is the common cry of PR and marketing agencies in Nigeria, but Beta Digitals is writing a different story. While others struggle with traditional methods, founder Ifeanyi Onyeka discovered a game-changing secret that’s helping Nigerian brands go viral: the strategic use of micro-workers.

In an industry where even the biggest names sometimes fail to deliver, this agency’s approach is nothing short of revolutionary.

Tell us a little about yourself and how Beta Digitals started.
My name is Ifeanyi Onyeka, and I am the founder of Beta Digitals; a PR and Marketing Agency. We offer digital marketing services to both brands and individuals. My background in managing social media accounts for individuals and businesses inspired me, and over time, I decided to create an agency catering to these needs.

What’s your backstory, and how did you get here?
Well, I never thought of creating a PR agency at first; I guess life has its way of taking unexpected turns but it’s been an amazing journey so far I must say. Getting to meet different people and learning in the process.

Take us through how your PR and Marketing Agency operates.
At Beta Digitals we offer Public relations services, social media marketing, Paid Ads, Reputation management, and branding. We get to onboard our clients and understand their pain points better, this gives us a better understanding of how to improve their business.

How did you discover OwoDaily, and what made you try it?
OwoDaily is a great platform I must say; it has helped me personally to deliver the best. I discovered Owo Daily via Social media and ever since then the platform has been improving and also helping Nigerians earn from home. Amazing platform.

How has posting jobs on OwoDaily helped in your PR campaigns?
It has helped us in creating a better experience for our PR campaigns such as Instagram campaigns, Twitter, and many more. The platform also helps track the tasks being assigned and ensures that the results are delivered.

Can you share a PR campaign where OwoDaily made a difference?
We have had so many campaigns that went well, but what has stood out for me was a rising artist who we managed their TikTok and Twitter campaigns to promote their latest single which created so much buzz on social media.

What’s working to keep your agency growing?
There’s no one-size-fits-all strategy, but I’d say we have built a strong foundation by running paid ads, and influencer marketing, while also creating content for our clients that educates them. Landing high-paying clients often comes from consistent results and being able to take our clients on the journey

What challenges have you faced in PR, and how did you overcome them?
Well, the major challenge we face is convincing prospective clients to work with you, and due to the competition in the industry clients easily move to another agency to get results thinking it’s magic.

But oh well; it is what it is.

What’s your advice for PR professionals looking to use OwoDaily?
I’d advise that when using OwoDaily, create micro-jobs that you can easily control without having to worry about blocks or bans from these social media platforms. But in all, exploring each service on the platform is really a good idea.

What’s next for Beta Digitals?
For Beta Digitals, we are looking at staying consistent and evolving as the industry evolves as well, we want to create marketing services that will stand the test of time. In 5 years, we want to be a household name in Abuja and Nigeria as a whole.

In a country where excellence meets innovation, Beta Digitals isn’t just participating—they’re leading the charge. Their journey from a simple social media management service to a full-fledged PR powerhouse shows that with the right strategy, Nigerian businesses can not only compete but dominate in the digital age.
